  • The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Global Director of Learning, Development & Organisational Effectiveness to help us develop our exceptional employee experience. We are in the early stages of developing our talent programs and this is an opportunity for a forward-thinking, strategic L&D Director to support our continuing growth by leading the development of our learning and talent strategy.  The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge programs that build our culture and reinforce our values.


    You will have the opportunity to drive our broader learning and talent strategy, defining the priorities in partnership with the business and designing and delivering programs that support our business objectives.


    This is a hands-on role which will suit someone who loves the idea of building programs from the ground up and works well in a collaborative team environment as you will be closely aligned with the HR Business Partners and leadership at all levels. 

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    • Lead the development and execution of our talent and learning and organizational effectiveness strategy globally.
    • Consult with the business to identify the core skills and capability gaps that need to be addressed to support our future growth plans
    • Identify, design and facilitate skills development programs which maximize the potential of our people.
    • Develop a strategic and operational plan for your team and our organizational needs
    • Lead our approach to leadership development, succession planning, performance enhancement, culture enhancement and talent management
    • Drive employee engagement and organization design as we continue to grow.
    • Identify and communicate the business impacts of Employee and Leadership Development initatives and achievement of strategic and operational goals
    • Keep up-to-speed with the latest thinking around learning technologies and content solutions, to curate learning opportunities that are most relevant for our employees
    • Manage the ongoing evolution of our learning technologies to match business needs and support the continued growth and development of our humans
    • Lead the development of core strategic learning and OE projects
    • Embed a learning culture across the organization that will create business impact
    • Evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals and metrics; update strategies and goals to maximize results.
    • Manage the global budget for learning and OE
    • Leading our L&D Champions network to facilitate wider engagement with our strategic plans
    • Establishing and managing ongoing vendor relationships with best-in-class L&D partners
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance our Workhuman suite of products to support ongoing career development conversations, mentoring and talent management

    • You are experienced with leading, motivating, and managing a high performing team of learning and development professionals
    • You have extensive experience creating and driving the talent/learning strategy connecting employee experience to business results
    • Your background is in designing and facilitating learning programs incorporating the latest learning trends and a range of learning media to ensure employee engagement and career development
    • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills at all levels of the business
    • Experience of L&D in a fast paced (ideally technology) environment
    • You are collaborative in nature and have experience of consulting with internal or external customers including HR partners to leverage insights
    • You have strong business acumen and are results driven
    • High energy, passionate and role models our core values, is a champion for employee experience
    • You’re well versed in content creation and execution across the business and job levels

    What we would like to see from you:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Psychology or Learning & Development preferred
    • 10+ years of Human Resources Learning and Development experience
    • Project management expertise throughout the L&D lifecycle, from design and implementation to engagement and high adoption
